Mastectomy Bras by Anita Now Available in Multiple Styles
September 30 2021 – Tara Schindle
Secret Drawers Lingerie believes in supporting women during all of life’s experiences. And while breast cancer is certainly an experience that I wish no one would have, I am honored to be able to help women going through it in a tiny way. We are now carrying mastectomy bras to help women feel more like themselves after they’ve had to make the difficult choice of having a mastectomy.
Mastectomy Bras by Anita: The Tonya, Safina, Lisa and Clara Art
We are carrying four mastectomy bra styles by the longstanding lingerie favourite: Anita. The first up is the Tonya (seen on the upper right). The Tonya by Anita is a concealing mastectomy bra that is perfectly smooth. It’s your everyday basic. This bra is comprised of snug-fitting foam cups developed exclusively for Anita. These soft, pre-formed cups are made of a light and airy tulle. It provides ideal support and doesn’t show under thin fabrics. There are pockets on both sides. The slim straps on the Tonya are designed to be comfortable and are padded with fiberfill. The Tonya is available in shadow blue (shown) or skin in sizes 32-44, cups A-D.
The next Antia mastectomy bra is the Safina, seen on the upper left. The Safina is now available in the fashion colour biscuit (as shown), and fashion is what this bra is about; after all, women get mastectomies, not fashion-ectomies. Biscuit is a light, peachy, sand colour that acts as a nude, although it comes across a little prettier on the body. The Safina is a wire-free mastectomy bra for those who don’t appreciate an underwire. Pleasant on the skin and a dream in voile, partially transparent embroidery, the Safina has wide, padded comfort straps that offer optimal support. The breast form pockets on both sides are made of cotton. The Safina by Anita is available in sizes 34-42, cups A-F.
The Lisa by Anita, seen on the lower right, is up next. This mastectomy bra is made of a jacquard fabric with a fleecy, soft, breathable microfibre yarn. The fabric is particularly breathable and ensures pleasant wearing comfort and a dry feeling on the skin due to perfect moisture transportation. I don’t think I need to tell you how comfortable this is against your skin. The seamlessly pre-formed breast form pockets on both sides ensure maximum comfort. The Lisa is available in anthracite (as shown) in sizes 32-42, cups A-C.
Finally, featured is the Clara Art mastectomy bra by Anita, shown on the lower left. This memorable beauty combines a delicate ellipsis print in contracting blue hues on a dark background with semi-transparent black panels to create a midnight blue shimmer effect. The three-part cups are made from a functional microfibre fabric and are stabilised with side panels, which continue elegantly into the padded comfort straps. The prosthesis pockets on both sides have a soft and skin-friendly finish. Anita’s Clara Art is available in sizes 34-44, cups A-F.
