Orphée is new Simone Pérèle lingerie that is Parisian retro couture style, reimagined. “Orphée” translates to “Orpheus,” who was a legendary poet, musician, and prophet from Ancient Greece. He was known for his ability to charm all living things, even stones, with his music. ! feel similarly charmed about this lingerie.

Classic, black, sheer tulle forms the basis of this demi-cup design. Atop that, sits floral embroidery and details inspired by Simone Pérèle’s corsets. These details include a satin band and straps along with lacy details above the cups. Perhaps the most striking part, however, is the circular hardware seen at the breastbone. This bra’s straps can be worn in the standard fashion or crisscrossed in the back.

Of course, I had to get the matching bottoms in the Orphée design as well. Available are the thong and hipster designs. The thong features the same lacy edging along the legs and the floral embroidery all across the front. The hipster is slightly different, with a black panel at the front and mesh embroidered panels at the sides. Both Simone Pérèle Orphée bottoms are available in sizes S-XL.
